Moser Oil Announces Year-End Operational Pause to Execute Strategic Planning Following Acreage Expansion and Record Acquisition Delays

Moser Oil today announced a planned year-end pause in external sales and administrative operations as the company transitions into an internal strategy and execution phase ahead of its 2026 drilling and redevelopment program.

This decision follows a late-year operating environment impacted by federal government shutdown delays, which temporarily restricted access to critical field and historical records within the Osage Indian Territory. While several last-minute investor and brokerage calls were conducted, the timing did not allow for the completion of a responsible 60–90 day due-diligence cycle typically required to secure institutional-quality capital commitments.

As a result, Moser Oil has elected not to force capital raises under compressed timelines and instead prioritize disciplined planning and execution.

Acreage Expansion and Asset Identification Achieved in 2025

Despite timing constraints, Moser Oil successfully identified and initiated acquisition processes for approximately 2,500 acres encompassing 50+ existing oil wells, with a dozen or more wells currently producing. These assets are located in proven producing fields with established infrastructure and documented historical production.

This expanding footprint provides Moser Oil with a deep inventory of workover candidates, recompletion opportunities, and future drilling locations, positioning the company strongly for scaled execution in 2026.

Founder Eric Moser stated:

“We didn’t get financing across the finish line this year—and that’s okay. What we did get is the hard part: real acreage, real wells, real data, and real opportunity. Capital follows preparation, not the other way around.”

Strategic Reset to Prepare for 2026 Execution

Effective immediately through year-end, Moser Oil will temporarily suspend:

  • Outside sales activities

  • External capital outreach

  • Non-essential administrative operations

The company will instead focus internally on:

  • Finalizing acreage acquisitions

  • Completing field verification and engineering reviews

  • Structuring 2026 drilling and redevelopment programs

  • Aligning with select corporate and institutional entities already in discussion for the new year

Mr. Moser emphasized that the pause is strategic, not reactive:

“This business rewards patience and discipline. We’re turning inward to sharpen our strategy, finalize programs, and be fully prepared to execute when the calendar turns. 2026 is where the real work begins.”

Positioned for a Strong 2026

With proven fields, expanding acreage, identified producing assets, and multiple redevelopment pathways, Moser Oil enters the new year positioned for accelerated growth once capital deployment resumes under proper diligence standards.

Holiday Message

Moser Oil extends its sincere thanks to partners, operators, and prospective investors for their engagement throughout 2025 and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
